Production
the wine was made from selected hand picked just underripe grapes
taken before the remaining grapes were allowed to produce Aszu
grapes for the more classic styles. The juice was protected, cold
settled and fermented using a range of slected yeast strains.
A very light fining helped the wine to settle and clarify prior
to final blending.

Colour
young, very pale green/straw.
Nose
delicate elderflower and lime tree blossom notes demonstrate exactly
the characteristics that gave this grape type its name.
Taste
dry, fresh and charming with a little more underlying power than
is apparent from the finely balanced gently floral style. This
will be a gorgeous wine for Spring and summer drinking in the
coming year.
Serve
chilled, this wine will be especially good with sea food such
as shrimps, prawns and scallops. It can also be enjoyed on its
own as an aperitif.
